Many years ago, there was a billboard campaign that claimed that Jesus was a vegetarian. The campaign was financed by one of the animal rights groups. When I heard about the billboard, my jaw dropped. First, Jesus was not a vegetarian. The Bible talks about killing animals in several places. Second, I was saddened by the fact that many people would believe that nonsense.
Animal rights groups are very vocal while outdoorsmen and Christians are often not vocal at all. I decided to create a bold T-shirt line that spoke the truth about how it is biblically correct to kill animals. The Red Sea Apparel line isn’t politically correct. In fact, the verses and slogans used on the shirts to catch the attention of those who read the shirt might offend some. That is okay.
